Titan is pleased to launch a new approach to support curriculum development and partnership working.

A programme of activities and events will be produced including individual school/college/university/community organisation activity as well as joint activities available to all members. The aim is to raise awareness, facilitate joint and cross-phase activities, to share staff expertise and for students to share experiences.

Spring term 2012 will focus on Science and the Summer term 2012 will focus on the Arts and Sports, as a lead up to the London Olympics 2012.

A number of activities have already taken place this term including Thin Tank going into a number of our primary member schools.

Titan Science Fair

As part of the science themed term Titan has organised a Science Fair which will take place on Thursday 22nd March 2012 at Birmingham Science Park, Aston. For further details see -

Titan’s Art and Poetry Competition

Preparing for the summer term Titan would like students to create a piece of artwork or poetry around the fastest man/woman on the planet, the strongest man/woman, the highest/longest jumper on the planet or any Olympic sport.

Schools to submit their entries to the Titan office by Friday 23rd March 2012.

Prizes will be awarded and Titan will be creating an exhibition of student’s work, which will displayed in various venues across the summer term.
