What makes a good project?- The project is well planned. All partners know what to expect, time-scales, actions, responsibilities etc.
- Projects should be integrated into curriculum work for schools.
- Teachers should be committed and realise the importance of good communications with the company.
- The company personnel need to get something out of it!!
- Don't be over-ambitious plan something that is realistic and reasonable.
- Consider how the school and business will measure the impact and determine that the project has been successful. Consider impact measures from the outset.
- Teachers should spend time on a teacher placement at the company.
- Companies should not let the schools down by not delivering do what you commit to and say that you are going to deliver!
