Collegiate Management Group
The Collegiate Management Group meets regularly. The group is strategic, and consists of senior school staff (usually Deputy Headteachers), college and provider representatives, and a representative from Connexions.
The suggested role for a member of the Collegiate Management Group is one in which the post holder will:
- Lead on rationale and school policy in the context of its provision for all students 14-19 (in 11-16 schools supporting progression 16-19)
- Agree criteria and identify needs of students to be met through collaborative provision
- Plan and cost the school's curriculum provision to include collaborative elements
- Negotiate provision for student learning programmes with collaborating providers, or via 14-19 Co-ordinator
- Report on staffing and resource implications � short and long term - to school Leadership Team
- Oversee the coordination of the programme within the school including:Budget management
- Development of common policies, procedures and documentation (via 14-19 Co-ordinator
- Establish and monitor systems for quality assurance and evaluation
- Supply reports on the progress of the programme as required to the Leadership Team, governors, LSC, LA etc
- Liaise with other co-ordinators, providers, Connexions Service, local community
- Promote effectiveness of staff through staff development
Meetings of Collegiates A and B Management Groups are held regularly, and usually jointly.
