Professional development is a ‘core’ area of Titan’s support for schools, colleges, universities and community organisations. The strategy is delivered through a Titan Professional Development framework that provides for clear progression through professions for teachers and non-teachers alike. Accreditation is available at all levels.

Titan is a ‘Professional Learning Community’ providing high level support from initial teacher training to headship, and for ALL colleagues working in the schools, colleges, universities and community organisations.

Titan’s support is delivered through a number of Communities of Practice (CoPs), initiated by the Titan members and led by ‘experts’. The universities, schools and other partners contribute to the leadership and management of the CoPs.

Much of the professional development for teachers in schools is focused on the Ofsted framework and the Teachers Standards, enabling professionals to seamlessly progress through to senior leadership and beyond.
