Support for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) is outlined on the Titan Professional Development Framework. Many of the opportunities support an NQT in developing and consolidating their practice in the early years of teaching.

Titan encourages ALL NQTs to become highly reflective practitioners.  A focus for Titan’s Professional Development of NQTs is to enable this to happen. Schools are very supportive of NQTs and Titan enables the NQT to expand their experiences by communicating and linking with colleagues outside of their own school environment.

Accreditation for personal professional development from the start of the NQT year is available through the Teacher Learning Academy (TLA) accreditation.

NQTs are advised to acquaint themselves with the Teacher Standards (available via this link…..) as the NQT will need to ensure that these standards are met. Please note the Teacher Standards are currently under review.

Specific training sessions are held each term for NQTs in Titan schools/colleges. If you are not based in a Titan member school/college please contact the Titan office to see how you could attend the Titan NQT training events.
