SCITT - Interview Procedures

Before any offers are made applicants will be required to make themselves available for interview. The interview panel will be made up of 2 or 3 people - Subject Leader and ITT Manager and/or Coordinator.

Interviews will include:

1. a presentation by you on the QTS Standards and your Subject Knowledge. This will focus on your prior learning, knowledge and awareness as well as pupil misconceptions within your subject. You will be expected to draw on your experience/observation in schools (min 5 days)
   
   
2. a formal interview
   
   
3. a reading task
   
   
4. You will spend a minimum of two days in a Titan SCITT school where you will demonstrate that you have the qualities to become a teacher, for example you will be observed interacting with pupils and staff. Application deadline – where possible applications to be made by the end of May.

We may contact the schools where you have observed for a report on your interaction with young people and staff.

Applicants will be notified within 5 working days regarding their success or otherwise. If you require special arrangements or have special needs, you must inform Titan at least 3 days prior to interview.
