A key aspect of our work is to support young people as they transition across all phases of education and into employment. Titan facilitates an inspiring programme of activities for young people to connect with employers. We know that meaningful employer engagement is the most effective way to develop the skills that employers are demanding and ultimately create a successful workforce for the future. Titan also supports Careers Leads to develop and implement effective careers strategies in order to support the achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks.
During COP26, WildHearts hosted the inaugural WildHearts Global Youth Summit – the world’s largest youth-led Sustainability Summit, connecting over 35,000 young people across 5 continents. Following this success, they committed to repeating the event every year, bringing together their global network of empowered young people to learn, collaborate and innovate to create a more sustainable future.
The summit is designed to provide engaging activities for every age group, enabling young people to collaborate with world leading brands. By taking part, participants develop the skills and behaviours that can empower them to become the responsible leaders of the future.

Micro-Tyco is a leading global entrepreneurship competition which challenges young people to work together and develop innovative solutions to address The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In collaboration with corporate partners, students are provided with inspiration, knowledge, and networks to support their ideas.
Top performing teams are invited to pitch their ideas to a judging panel, where they receive expert feedback from leading global brands. The winning teams work closely with WildHearts corporate partners to help bring their project to life.

Thanks to our partnership with WildHearts, we are able to offer a series of mental health and wellbeing webinars. Aimed at parents and carers, these interactive webinars are hosted by a leading teen adolescent therapist. Previous webinar topics have included Family Dynamics, How to Protect Your Child’s Mental Health and How to Deal with worry, Stress and Anxiety.
The Women in Tech Awards seek to highlight and recognise the ongoing contribution of women in the tech sector. The aim of the awards is to raise the visibility of women in this space and to enable to next generation to ‘see it and therefore aspire to it.’ We work with winners and finalists from the Women in Tech Awards to showcase the vast range of dynamic careers within this industry.
Typically, someone from the tech industry would visit your school and deliver a workshop on careers in tech (short presentation, quiz, fun tech related activity, etc) but this can be adapted to suit your needs.

Our local NHS contacts can work with primaries to become an ‘asthma friendly school.’ This project aims to support good health of students but also provides an opportunity to link in with professionals to raise awareness of careers within the health service.

The local Ladywood and Perry Barr Locality Partnership (LPBLP) connects schools to NHS clinicians and public health professionals to tackle health inequalities. The portfolio of activities include ‘Community Based Work Experience’, an innovative project that offers students community research training, contact time with NHS professionals and the opportunity to develop critical thinking, active listening and presentation skills.
Another innovative project offered by the LPBLP is the ‘Best Start in Life Hack.’ Delivered by RSE/PSHE specialists and supported by NHS professionals, this engaging half-day programme looks at how, from pre-conception to early parenthood, the health, wellbeing, behaviours and choices of parents influence a baby’s start in life.
Both projects provide opportunities to raise awareness of the wide range of careers within the health service.

Desiblitz.com is a multi award-winning UK based web magazine aimed primarily at British Asian communities. They offer an exciting project for students interested in journalism, or those who simply would like to express their views in writing. Supported by Desiblitz staff, students are invited to write a 550-word story on a subject that is close to their heart. Successful entrants’ work will be published on the Desiblitz website and students who submit outstanding work will be invited to spend a day at the Desiblitz office to learn more about a career in journalism. Previous winners have written stories and poems on subjects such as cyber-bullying, equality and racial awareness.
Barclays LifeSkills is a range of resources to help students recognise and develop their skills, to help build confidence and boost employability. The local Barclays team can provide a bespoke programme of activity including topics such as CV writing, employability skills, interview preparation, money management, how to set up a bank account, etc. The team can provide in-person delivery as well as online support and work with schools, colleges and universities.
Target group: All secondary age students, FE and HE students.
We work with Young Enterprise to offer their flagship project, ‘The Company Programme.’ This programme enables students in Years 10-13 to set up and run their own student company. Students have a minimum of 12 weeks to find out what it is really like to set up and run a business, going through the process of deciding on their company name, developing a product/service, managing their finances and selling to the public at trade fairs.
When funding is available, this project is offered free of charge and is supported by industry mentors to provide students with business knowledge and expertise.

Through our employer links, we are able to offer careers talks on consultancy careers in the green economy through a company called Germserv. These talks are ideal for secondary schools and colleges. Gemserv is a consultancy that helps organisations to achieve Net Zero by changing the way we generate and consume energy. The careers talks will be delivered by the team that is working with the UK Government to improve the efficiency of the UK’s energy system to reduce carbon emissions and will cover:
